Achtung! came up with an idea that suited the Polo’s distinctive character. For 8 days, the new Polo became public property. Drivers had one goal: drive as many kilometers as possible before someone stops the car to Catch the Polo. The person with the most kilometers under his belt at the end would win the new Polo. Even though the new Polo is blessed with a tough appearance, it had to stand out from the crowd even more! So Achtung! teamed up with Dog and Pony and asked us to design the action site, the logo, the appearance of the Polo and the VW California.
The Volkswagen Pak de Polo campaign became a Webby Award Honoree and won several national and international prices, amongst which a Eurobest Silver, a Bronze Epicar, Spinaward Silver, a New York Festivals Bronze, an Esprix Silver, A Cannes Cyber Lion Bronze and an AMMA Award.
